Earl Grey Cookies

Since everyone else is still having exams I have decided to bake something nice to keep myself occupied. So, one rainy afternoon (actually yesterday), I went to Tea's to bake chocolate chip cookies which we eventually tweaked the recipe to earl grey ones hahahas. Alright, the truth is the chocolate chips were too huge and it got burnt when it melted onto the baking trays. We decided to try our luck on earl grey since we do not have any other ingredients and it tasted pretty yummy and fragrant :D

 The cookies
A cookie made in a shape of Tim to thank him for having us for dinner :D
My cute creation without a cookie cutter, that explains why it is oddly-shaped.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter - softened
3/4 cup - sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teabag of earl grey
a pinch of salt

**P.S. you might want to add more flour in case the dough is too sticky for a crunchier cookie

Steps:
1. combine all the ingredients listed above into a cookie dough
2. align your baking tray with a piece of baking sheet
3. shape and put your cookies on the baking sheet
4. preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius and bake for about 10 mins, ready when it is brown.

Enjoy peeps <3
